Atense, with a $5 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The cybersecurity company has developed a computer vaccine that stops malware without even knowing about it. The Atense computer vaccine aims to encrypt software programs, create a new executable program with a DNA fingerprint, place itself in the operating system, and prevent malware. John Almeida founded Atense in 2018. The current crowdfunding raise has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, and the proceeds will be used for research and development, sales and marketing, and overheads. Atense has a 70% complete working prototype that will soon become a commercial product.
