Cabo Vegan, a Cabo Verdean vegan restaurant in Brockton, MA, is raising funds on MainVest. The restaurant aims to cater to a meat-free lifestyle, serving vegan or plant-based Cabo Verdean cuisine. The tasty and nutritious meals of Cabo Vegan come with the benefits of veganism. Tome Andrade and Valery Teixeira founded Cabo Vegan in June 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $75,000, and the proceeds will be used to finish the buildout of the first brick-and-mortar location, purchase equipment, and buy furniture. Cabo Vegan has already established a base and gained demand during its soft launch and aims to become the satellite for veganism in the south shore.
