Green Grass Acres, a hemp farm located in Jackson, MS, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. The farm is walking distance from restaurants, hotels, and nightlife in the area and offers education and exploration. It is spread over an area of 44,100 square feet, with 34 rows of 34 plants each. The farm is flexible to grow hemp for fiber, grain, or CBD oil. James Ridgley Jr. founded Green Grass Acres in October 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $150,000, will be used to purchase equipment and fund upgrades to bring tours to the farm. Green Grass Acres plans to lease a 14-seat tour cycle estimated to add $40,000 monthly profit through tours.
