Groundfloor, with a pre-money valuation of $52 million, is raising funds through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The platform allows everyone to build wealth through real-estate lending. The Groundfloor platform originates and underwrites loans for residential real estate projects. The loans are then converted into LROs that can be invested into by individual investors. Groundfloor was founded by Brian Dally and Nick Bhargava and has raised over $22.5 million in previous rounds of financing. The current round of funding has a minimum goal of $1,250,013 and a maximum goal of $9,999,994. The funds will be used for customer acquisition, regulatory development, new product development, software and technology, local market expansion, and operating expenses. Groundfloor has over 75,000 registered users who have invested more than $250 million in its real-estate investments.
