Mesh Communities, with a valuation cap of $8 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The social media platform allows communities and users to reimagine digital advertising. The users get to become the owners of their content, privacy, safety, and relationships. Jess Wise and Cliff Atkinson founded Mesh Communities in March 2019. The current crowdfunding raise has a minimum target of $100,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, and the proceeds will be used for marketing, research, hiring additional engineers, and expanding the community. Mesh Communities works on an ethical business model and incentivizes trust and safety to reduce violence, hate, and wrong information.
