Village Box Cafe Bar & Grill

Wrap-A-Lots

Wrap-A-Lots works on a unique business model of delivery-only to reduce the overhead costs and stay safe during COVID-19.

 

KapitalWise

KapitalWise, with a pre-money valuation of $15 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. It is a financial technology company that helps financial institutions in their client relationship solutions. KapitalWise’s AI-powered platform analyses large volumes of data about customers and provides insights to the companies to improve their efficiency and user experience. KapitalWise was founded by Sajil Koroth in 2017. The company’s current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $9,998.94 and a maximum goal of $432,997.32, and the funds will be used for growth and expansion. KapitalWise has secured early contracts with Bank of America, Standard Chartered Bank, and ABSA, and reported a 150% year-over-year revenue growth from 2018 to 2019.

 

Slate Point Meadery

Slate Point Meadery, a commercial mead producer in New York, is raising funds on Honeycomb. The company produces unique alcoholic beverages, crafted from honey and enjoyed as everyday drinks similar to beer, wine, hard cider, and hard seltzer. The company currently sells at off-premises events but plans to open its own tasting room soon. Slate Point Meadery was founded by Eric DeRise in 2016. The proceeds will be used for opening the doors of its tasting room on Main Street in Poughkeepsie, NY. Procertas, with a $10 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Republic. It is an online learning platform that teaches essential business tools, including Microsoft Office and other technologies. The individuals get to identify the gaps in their skill sets and address them through online learning. Procertas was founded by Casey Flaherty and Joseph Colucci in October 2016. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, and the funds will be used to expand the impact of the company. Procertas has issued over 7,500 certifications and generated over $650,000 in lifetime revenues. The Procertas platform has been adopted by over 85 universities for their law program offerings, and by more than 50 firms for training their employees.

 

flatland3d

flatland3d, an electric skateboard accessories manufacturer, is raising funds on Fundopolis. The company designs and sells accessories for electric skateboards, including Bash Guard for Booster Gloves, E-Skate Glove, and Bash Guard M. The products of flatland3d serve to protect the personal electric vehicle riders’ community from injuries and keep them safe and comfortable. flatland3d was founded by Nick Klimas and Steve Silva in 2016. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $249,000, and the proceeds will be used for launching new products and their marketing. flatland3d is a leader in the PEV glove industry and is positioned well to lead the entire PEV safety market with its innovative and high-quality products.

 

Stark Therapeutics

Stark Therapeutics, with a valuation cap of $8 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company uses gene therapy to treat chronic diseases. It is currently working on gene therapy for type II diabetes and a vaccine for COVID-19 targeting the nucleocapsid protein. Learnt

Learnt, with a valuation cap of $9 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. It is an AI-powered online tutoring platform that connects students with talented tutors. The platform is democratizing education by its user-friendly and interactive virtual learning environment and customized approach. Learnt was founded by Andrew Nimmich and Eliza Nimmich in April 2020. The company’s crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $107,000, and the proceeds will be used to grow its reach to more students and educators. Learnt is led by an experienced team that has already launched Tutor the People platform successfully. The platform has become all the more important with the shift to online and virtual learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Virtudes Labs

Virtudes Labs, with a pre-money valuation of $5 million, is raising crowdfunding on Fundanna. It is an upcoming producer and processor of high-quality CBD oil from Jamaican farms. The company is vertically integrated and has recently acquired land in Jamaica for its first hemp crop. Virtudes Labs was founded by Jamiel Jamieson and Farrah Zargaran in July 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000, will be used for marketing, research & development, equipment, material, and labor. Virtudes Labs is already in advanced talks with companies that have experience in farming hemp as well as the prospective buyers for its biomass, CBD, and refined oil.

 

Heavenly Chicken & Waffles

Heavenly Chicken & Waffles, a food company in Detroit, MI, is raising funds on Honeycomb. The company handmakes delicious fried chicken and waffles and offers its services to customers in a friendly and professional manner. Heavenly Chicken & Waffles uses only organic ingredients for its offerings, sourced by Eastern Market. Heavenly Chicken & Waffles was founded by Aaron Sanders in 2016. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $35,000, and the funds will be used to expand the business by purchasing a new food truck and equipment. Wingspan Health is integrated with over 300 health systems and has reported over 30% month-over-month organic user growth.

 

3C Bio

3C Bio, with a valuation cap of $9 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company aims to build and deploy mobile diagnostic labs for the testing of SARS-CoV-2 infections. The testing will be focused on mission-critical communities, including schools, food and transportation workers, healthcare facilities, and critical infrastructure workers. The platform allows the circles to launch campaigns, collect donations, crowdfund, invite new members, create reports, and get expert advice. Grapevine was founded by Emily Rasmussen and Arrel Gray in 2017 and has raised over $590,000 since its inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, will be used for new engineer recruitment, sales, donation disbursement fees, and accounting and legal fees. Grapevine is a fast-growing social movement that has coordinated over $1 million in charity from more than 40,000 donors.

 

Inventr

Inventr, with a valuation cap of $7 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is reinventing intellectual property, starting with the patent process. It is an automated patent assistant that helps deep tech companies capture ideas, automate research, identify patentability, and obtain patents. Inventr was founded by Manu Stephen, Steven H, and Steven Trojanowski and has raised over $120,000 since its inception. The proceeds of the crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $150,000, will be used for targeted marketing and product development. Inventr has more than 30 LOIs from companies and is a part of the Patent Pro Bono Program of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

 

Soraban

Soraban, with a valuation cap of $6 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The system helps to automate the menial work of CPAs, thus helping them deliver their services faster. The process of data extraction and organization becomes automated and more efficient through the use of Soraban. Pristeem

The food truck owners get to market themselves, target nearby food enthusiasts, post deals, daily specials, and upcoming events. Nicholas Spindel founded Where’s The Foodtruck and has raised over $79,000 since its founding. It will be a Southern-inspired restaurant and bar in a casual setting and will offer cold beer, craft cocktails, and great food. Locals Bar and Grille is owned by Joseph Darigo and his wife, both with decades of experience in the restaurant industry. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $55,000. The proceeds will be used for space buildout, equipment, and operating capital. Locals Bar and Grille is led by a passionate team and has big demand in the area with no other restaurant in a 7-mile radius.

 

BioCurity Pharmaceuticals

BioCurity Pharmaceuticals, with a pre-money valuation of $36.3 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company is developing drugs to transform radiation therapy and prevent its side effects for cancer patients. The patented technology of BioCurity intends to reduce the side effects of radiation without impeding its effectiveness. Dr. Cheryl Baker founded BioCurity Pharmaceuticals in 2016 and completed a crowdfunding campaign on StartEngine in June 2020. The products of Sunwarrior are high-quality and organic and include protein powders, liquid minerals, vegan collagen boosters, and SBO probiotics. Sunwarrior was founded by Nick Stern and Denley Fowlke in 2008. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $1,069,990, will be used to provide new solutions to existing and new customers. Sunwarrior is an established brand sold in over 12,000 stores and has generated more than $168 million in lifetime sales. The company generated $19 million in revenue in 2019 and has partnered with 42 international distributors worldwide.

 

JogAlong Stroller

JogAlong Stroller, a stroller manufacturing company, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company makes strollers that enable running and walking at the same time. The strollers have elliptical arms that embrace natural arm motion, giving parents an exciting combination of running and spending time with their child. JogAlong Stroller was founded by Mike Dresher in 2014 and has raised over $150,000 since its founding. Gleantap.ai, with a valuation cap of $6.5 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company has developed a platform to revolutionize the health and fitness industry. The platform offers a personalized experience with the help of artificial intelligence and leverages user data to acquire, engage, and retain customers. Sagar Babber founded Gleantap.ai in 2018 and has raised over $274,000 since its inception. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $280,000. The funds will be used for marketing, product development, and ramping up the sales team. Gleantap.ai generated $740,000 in annual recurring revenue and reported a 100% growth in the past six months.

 

AP Racing

Annestes Thoroughbreds owns several horses, all bred on Annestes Farm in Versailles, Kentucky. The portfolio is led by Max Player, a well-bred three-year-old racehorse. Annestes Thoroughbreds is run by Jorge Velasquez, Tyler Sloan, and John Hall. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $100,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used for purchasing horses for racing and breeding and ongoing working capital. Annestes Thoroughbreds horses have strong pedigrees and may give investors a chance at being part of the Kentucky Derby experience.

 

Bugs Beachin’ Shaved Ice

Bugs Beachin’ Shaved Ice, a food stand in North Myrtle Beach, SC, is raising funds on MainVest. The food stand serves authentic Hawaiian shaved ice, peanut butter fudge, giant-sized popcorn, and freshly spun cotton candy. Bugs Beachin’ Shaved Ice is owned by Dakotah Mick, who launched the brick-and-mortar location in May 2020. mcSquares

mcSquares, with a pre-money valuation of $13 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company makes products that assist in social collaboration without technological distortion and distraction. The whiteboarding products of mcSquares help customers manage their chaos and engage with one another  in scenarios like a brainstorming workshop or a classroom full of students. Anthony Franco founded mcSquares in 2016. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $9,999.57 and a maximum goal of $709,242.38. The funds will be used to scale, grow, reach new audiences, and become available at the Big Box retailers. mcSquares has reported $2 million in lifetime sales, with a 600% growth from the first quarter of 2019 to the first quarter of 2020.

 

Detroit City Football Club

Detroit City Football Club, with a pre-money valuation of $10.8 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is the professional soccer team of Detroit. It has consistently redefined American soccer by being fun, memorable, winning, professional, authentic, and inspiring. Detroit City Football Club is led by Sean C Mann and Todd Kropp and has raised over $1.9 million since its inception. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, and the proceeds will be used for Keyworth Stadium improvements, additional staffing, and cash reserves for COVID related uncertainties. Detroit City Football Club is loved by the fans and experienced double-digit growth in attendance and revenue for seven of its first eight seasons.

 

Rad Intelligence

Rad Intelligence was founded by Jeremy Barnett in 2018 and has raised more than $1.6 million since its founding. Rad Intelligence reported a 400% growth in revenue and a 1000% growth in users from the first quarter of 2020 to the second quarter of 2020. The company also grew from four to 16 clients in 2020.

 

CityFreighter

CityFreighter, with a $7.5 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company makes electric trucks with lower costs and a modular approach.  The concept used by CityFreighter provides maximum flexibility and intelligent solutions for logistics companies. Michael Schoening founded CityFreighter in 2018 and has raised over $400,000 since its inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $535,000, will be used to start building the prototype chassis. CityFreighter works on a unique modular system that helps to build different vehicle variations quickly and saves millions of dollars on development costs. G-Cloud Limited

G-Cloud Limited, with a $3 million pre-money valuation, is raising funds on TruCrowd. It is a cloud computing company that aims to solve challenges associated with technological efficiency and effectiveness. The company is focused on becoming a Certified Cloud Service Provider and enabling rapid deployment of applications. G-Cloud Limited was founded by Lynda Chervil in July 2020.
