Kobrelms

Kobrelms, with a $5 million valuation cap, is raising funds on MicroVentures. The company makes athletic apparel and sports electronics audio gear accessories for men and women. The clothing is breathable, lightweight, and stylish, suitable for high-impact activities. The accessories include wireless earbuds and Bluetooth headphones. Joseph Yuyi founded Kobrelms in October 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000. The funds will be used for campaign marketing, general marketing, research and development, product inventory, and general working capital. Kobrelms holds two registered trademarks and has signed 13 social media influencers since its inception. The social media followers of Kobrelms have grown by 439% from April to July 2020.

 

Debellation Brewing Co.

Debellation Brewing Co., an upcoming brewery in Richmond Hill, GA, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. It is going to be the first craft beer brewery in the city of Richmond Hill, offering new styles and flavors of the beer. The brewery will make twelve unique flavors of premium craft beer using high-quality raw material. David Goodell founded Debellation Brewing Co. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $120,000, will be used for brewery buildout and startup capital. Debellation Brewing Co. is led by an extremely experienced team with prior knowledge of restaurant ownership. The brewery will be built at a prime location and among a community of loyal customers.

 

Ola Brew

Ola Brew, with a $19.5 million pre-money valuation, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company makes world-class Hawaiian beverages, including beers, hard ciders, and hard seltzers. Ola Brew focuses on ethical sourcing of raw material from Hawaiian farmers and increases their demand by providing a market for their crops. Brett Jacobson and Naehalani Breeland founded Ola Brew in December 2015. The current crowdfunding campaign of the company has a minimum target of $9,999 and a maximum target of $534,998.25. The funds will be used to continue growing in the seltzer market and pushing the products to new regions and more people. Ola Brew generates revenue through direct draft sales, taproom sales, and distributor sales.

 

Contiq

Contiq, with a $9 million pre-money valuation, is raising funds on SeedInvest. The company has developed an artificial intelligence-powered buyer intelligence platform that helps sellers win deals faster. The platform analyzes data to recommend the most effective content for deals and provides a superior and hyper-personalized customer engagement experience. Contiq was founded by Arun Lal and Rahul Kapoor in 2016. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, will be used for sales, marketing, and product development. Contiq works on a SaaS subscription business model and has already closed deals with Deloitte and VMware. The company has signed up over 700 users since its launch in January 2020 and is in discussions for additional pilots in the second quarter of 2020.

 

Illuminate Labs

Illuminate Labs, with a valuation cap of $1.7 million, is raising funds on MicroVentures. The company makes and sells dietary supplements. The products of Illuminate Labs are vegan, GMO-free, gluten-free, and allergen-free, and are tested by a third-party lab to authenticate their accuracy, purity, and potency. Calloway Cook founded Illuminate Labs in 2019 and has raised $80,000 since its inception. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000. The proceeds will be used for marketing, founder salary, fulfillment by Amazon warehousing, and expanding the product line. Illuminate Labs products are benchmarked against EU regulations. The company has sold over 71 bottles since its launch in March 2020, and the sales grew by 289% in July 2020.

 

HILOS

HILOS, with a $6 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on MicroVentures. The company is in the business of making on-demand, customized products, and it plans to start with footwear. HILOS has developed a method to combine legacy craftsmanship with 3D printing technology to make footwear that combines style, performance, and customization. Elias Stahl and Gaia Giladi founded HILOS in July 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $250,000, will be used for campaign marketing, general marketing, manufacturing, equipment purchases, and purchase of property. The products of HILOS will be made in Portland, with 72 hours between click and ship. The first product launch is scheduled for September 2020.

 

Hudson Space Systems

Hudson Space Systems, with a valuation cap of $3.8 million, is raising funds on MicroVentures. It is an aerospace company specializing in providing microgravity services to researchers, companies, and governments. The company aims to create an affordable launch environment for customers to perform their microgravity research. Hudson Space Systems was founded by five Stevens Institute of Technology graduates in October 2019. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $25,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000. The funds will be used for future wages, research and development, equipment purchases, and manufacturing. Hudson Space Systems has filed one provisional patent application and has received a grant from Stevens Institute of Technology.

 

Vital Leaf

Vital Leaf, with a $5 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on MicroVentures. It is a CBD wellness company that makes a line of CBD-infused products, including chocolates, capsules, body balm, and tinctures. The products of Vital Leaf are sold in over 300 locations across the US. Christina Sasser and Saki Kridakara founded Vital Leaf in 2016 and have raised over $1.3 million since its founding. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $250,000, will be used for general marketing, manufacturing, future wages, and general working capital. Vital Leaf’s products are plant-based, gluten-free, non-GMO, and made with organic ingredients.

 

MF Fire

MF Fire, with a pre-money valuation of $12.7 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company makes smart wood burning technology products that help in transforming wood energy into clean energy. MF Fire’s smart wood stove is 90% efficient, much cleaner than traditional wood stoves, and provides 50% cost savings on fuel costs. Paul LaPorte, Ryan Fisher, and Dr Taylor Myers founded MF Fire in 2014. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $9,999.25 and a maximum goal of $1,069,999.10. MF Fire has experienced substantial revenue growth, with over 100% year-over-year growth in product line and employees. The technology is based on extensive research and data analysis.

 

Transparent Path

Transparent Path, with a post-money valuation of $4.2 million, is raising funds on NetCapital. The platform is working on adding clarity and facts to the supply chains of foods and perishables. It uses artificial intelligence and continuously connected sensors to provide real-time transparency, visibility, and predictive intelligence to food producers. Eric Weaver founded Transparent Path in July 2018. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000, will be used for platform development, sales and marketing, equipment, customer support, loan repayment, and other expenses. Transparent Path is meant to bring stronger financials for producers, more resilient business ecosystems, forecasting disruptions, and faster traceability.

 

bspoketv

bspoketv, with a valuation cap of $8 million, is raising funds on Republic. The platform curates and aggregates digital content for linear distributions, generating revenue for brands. bspoketv gives small direct-to-consumer brands a platform to advertise their products with analytics similar to Google, Facebook, and Instagram. Michael Dutcher and Jason Dodo founded bspoketv in July 2019 and have raised over $250,000 since its founding. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $25,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000. The proceeds will be used to hire more salespeople, automate the ad sales system, and refine the advertiser and content creator portals. bspoketv has already created over 45 shows and has 12 over the air local affiliates.

 

Groomit

Groomit, with a $7 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is an on-demand platform that connects pet owners with pet stylists. The platform offers same-day pet grooming bookings with customizable packages. The experience is personalized and safe, connected with an extensive network of certified groomers. Sohel Kapadia founded Groomit in January 2020 and has raised over $2.4 million since its inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum raise of $200,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used for software development, hiring talent, and marketing and growth. Groomit has over 20,000 users and has completed more than 12,000 groomings. The company generated $1.5 million in revenue in the NY market and is easily scalable to major metro cities.

 

Charlala

Charlala, with a $1.5 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. It is an EdTech platform that teaches world languages. The platform has over 6,000 teachers in 26 countries and is growing organically to focus on real pain points of language education. Christopher Hammer founded Charlala in 2019 and has raised over $40,000 since its founding. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $100,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000. The funds will be used for content development, design and development, marketing, and legal consultation. Charlala has won the World Language Design Challenge of 2019, hosted by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt & LearnLaunch.

 

PharmD Live

PharmD Live, with a pre-money valuation of $9.13 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a telehealth company focused on medication risk and disease management, especially for chronically ill and old patients. The technology enhances patient care by providing 24/7 access to healthcare, self-management of health conditions, and better health outcomes. Cynthia Chioma Nwaubani founded PharmD Live in April 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum goal of $250,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, will be used for marketing and hiring staff to support new clients. PharmD Live also has a patent-pending technology platform for predictive medication side-effect profiling.

 

Ad Fontes Media

Ad Fontes Media, with a $5 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company reduces polarising junk news and rates news articles for reliability and bias. The human analysts look at the news content and score it based on their methodology. The Media Bias Chart of Ad Fontes Media functions as the reference product for consumers and educators. Vanessa Otero founded Ad Fontes Media in 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $250,000. The funds will be used for hiring analyst staff, business development, customer support, and software and database development. Ad Fontes Media is one of the most trusted and recognized news rating organizations and is growing 370% year-over-year.

 

1487 Brewery

1487 Brewery, a brewery in Plain City, OH, is raising funds on MainVest. The company sells authentic German beer with a modern American twist. The brewery currently sells curb-side and online and is ready to launch its new brewpub. Ben King and Thomas Garbe founded 1487 Brewery in 2016. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $200,000, will be used for kitchen and brewery equipment and bar & Biergarten FF&E. 1487 Brewery is actively brewing its beers for the brewpub and getting through the permits for its kitchen. The brewpub has 26 socially-distanced tables, with a pavilion and a stone natural gas fire pit.

 

SampleServe

SampleServe, with a post-money valuation of $7.2 million, is raising funds on NetCapital. It is a user-friendly platform for simplified environmental sample collection and project management. It automates the routine activities and improves the communication between technicians, managers, and labs. A. Russell Schindler founded SampleServe in 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $250,000. The proceeds of the raise will be used for accounts payable, employee compensation, and scaling up the operations. SampleServe offers the project management tool, field app, and lab app for free, but generates revenue from its report generator. It has been awarded two patents on its digital chain-of-custody.

 

DIVERTsessions Pop-Up

DIVERTsessions Pop-Up, an outdoor sports and education facility, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The facility is designed for safe, accessible, and affordable participation in sports and education during COVID. The program includes a skatepark, a ski hill, a wave machine, a creative education studio, a live event venue, and a food and beverage service. Zachary Adamson and David Monhait founded DIVERTsessions Pop-Up in 2019 and have raised over $400,000 since its founding. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $500,000, will be used for permitting & development, go-to-market, and staff & operations. DIVERTsessions Pop-Up combats social inequalities by making sports and education accessible to anyone and everyone.

 

Farthest Star Sake

Farthest Star Sake, an upcoming sake brewery and taproom in Medfield, MA, is raising funds on MainVest. The brewery will be one of its kind in New England. It will launch traditionally filtered and cloudy sake styles, in addition to the fun atmosphere and engagement in the taproom. Todd Bellomy founded Farthest Star Sake in 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $100,000 and a maximum raise of $150,000, will be used for leasehold improvements, equipment, and inventory. Farthest Star Sake will inherently be different due to its uniqueness and local brand affinity. The local sake brand is expected to draw a lot of customers and strong supporters.

 

Renewal Mill

Renewal Mill, with a $10 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Republic. It is an upcycled food company that utilizes by-products from food production processes and creates nutritious ingredients and foods. The company provides B2B services, B2B ingredients, and B2C products. Claire Schlemme and Caroline Cotto founded Renewal Mill in June 2016 and have raised over $1.75 million since the inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used to expand the product line and continue to reduce food waste and feed people. Renewal Mill is sold in more than 85 stores and has partnered with major brands like Hodo & Amy’s.

 

Frame

Frame, with a valuation cap of $5 million, is raising crowdfunding on SeedInvest. It is a mobile media company that publishes interactive documentaries in an immersive format. The stories of Frame are short documentaries in a narrative nonfiction style. Ben Moe founded Frame in June 2019 and has raised over $150,000 in the pre-seed round of funding. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $25,000 and a maximum goal of $107,000. The funds will be used towards the product, marketing, editorial, services and software, and general and administrative expenses. Frame has received the Best New Brand Award at the 2020 Digiday Media Awards and has received press coverage from notable publications.

 

Swift Rails

Swift Rails, with a pre-money valuation of $9.93 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is offering a new way of transportation with its on-demand personal vehicles working with zero emissions. The autonomous vehicles are powered by electric motors and use renewable energy. Kevin Neumaier founded Swift Rails in 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $50,001 and a maximum target of $1,069,996, will be used for design and engineering, business development, materials, and general and administrative expenses. Swift Rails has partnered with a well-established national transportation practice and the support of a top engineering university.

 

New Way Homes

New Way Homes, a scalable solution for creating affordable housing, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company focuses on developing below-market-rate houses, including workforce, supportive, and other discounted and financially sustainable houses. Sibley V. Simon founded New Way Homes in 2015 and has raised over $3.9 million since its inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $100,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used to pay for some pre-development expenses and fund the design and planning permit approval of the next six projects. New Way Homes has already started construction on its first 19 homes and has over 300 homes in permitting.

 

FuelGems

FuelGems, with a valuation cap of $8.5 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has developed a fuel additive that improves the cleanliness and performance of diesel, gasoline, and biofuel. The additives of FuelGems are highly effective and affordable and generate up to 1,000% ROI for users. Kirill Gichunts founded FuelGems in March 2019. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $100,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. The funds will be used for laboratory and hardware, primary payroll, lean marketing, and manufacturing facility. FuelGems has a client pipeline of multi-billion companies, including BP, Suncor Energy, and Marubeni. The additive is expected to revolutionize the fuel industry by decreasing emissions, increasing lubrication, and saving fuel.

 

Phat Scooters

Phat Scooters, with a $25 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. It is an electric vehicle company bringing manufacturing back to the US. The company sells fat tire scooters to brands, consumers, tour groups, resorts, and golf courses. Phat Scooters has also signed a contract with Sony Entertainment for its documentary series Riding Phat. Peter Johnson and Derrick J Mains founded Phat Scooters 2017 and have raised over $10 million since the founding. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum raise of $250,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used to cover the balances on the first 300 units coming in late August. Phat Scooters is approaching $1 million a month in revenue and reported a 300% growth over the last year.

 

Social Coffee BR

Social Coffee BR, a mobile coffee cart, is raising crowdfunding on Honeycomb. The coffee cart caters to birthdays, weddings, and business conferences and is known for the quality and craftsmanship of each cup of coffee. Dillon Farrell founded Social Coffee BR in November 2019. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $15,000 and a maximum target of $50,000. The funds will be used to hire more employees, purchase equipment and supplies, and buy a cargo van. Social Coffee BR also expects to grow into a brick-and-mortar location in the future, while continuing to sustain and grow its catering business.

 

Called Higher Studios

Called Higher Studios, a faith-based movie studio, is raising funds on StartEngine through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The studio has a valuation of $10.3 million and makes movies that matter. Called Higher Studios creates movies that honor God’s values and Christian faith. The studio aims to create high-quality films and television content, centered around Christ. Called Higher Studios was founded by Jason Brown and Ash Greyson and raised over $1 million in a previous Reg CF round. The current round of crowdfunding has no minimum target and a maximum target of $5,000,000, and the proceeds will be used to develop new projects. A part of the raise will also be donated to charities. Called Higher Studios is backed by an experienced team and is entering a large market with great opportunity.

 

Cloudastructure

Cloudastructure, a cloud video surveillance company with a $30 million pre-money valuation, is raising funds through Reg A+ crowdfunding. It is an early-stage high-tech company that uses computer vision for surveillance. The platform detects if people are or aren’t wearing masks, how far apart they are, and if they are feverish. Cloudastructure is giving businesses the power to reopen safely. The company was founded by Rick Bentley in 2003. The current crowdfunding round has no minimum raise and a maximum raise of $50,000,000. Cloudastructure’s technology offers an edge in access control and is highly relevant to today’s needs. It centralizes site security management and allows businesses to scale geographically.
