MyndVR

MyndVR, with a valuation cap of $8 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company is helping solve the problem of social isolation among the elderly with its easy-to-use VR platform. The platform finds application in senior living communities, veteran homes, and health care premises by enabling seniors to interact with the outside world. Chris Brickler and Shawn Wiora founded MyndVR in August 2016 and have raised $1.85 million in previous rounds of financing. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $25,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, will be used for growth and expansion. MyndVR tripled its customer base in 2020 and is collaborating with Stanford on a large-scale study on VR and aging.

 

Pencilish Animation Studios

Pencilish Animation Studios, with a pre-money valuation of $8.46 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is an animation studio created by top alumni of Disney, Sony Pictures, and Warner Bros. The studio aims to produce high-quality films, television, intellectual property, and animation that will be distributed through licensing, merchandise, and other revenue streams. Tom Bancroft founded Pencilish Animation Studios in October 2020 and has raised over $200,000 since its inception. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. The funds will be used for marketing, project development, debt repayment, salaries, and general overhead expenses. Pencilish Animation Studios is led by a passionate team with years of experience in filmmaking and animation.

 

Hayseed

Hayseed, a whodunnit mystery feature film, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. It is a brooding, mysterious, hilarious, and Hitchcockian film in a rural church setting. The film will be produced by American Bravado and directed by Travis Burgess. The production team of Hayseed has won several Emmy, Addy, and Webby awards. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum raise of $120,000 and a maximum raise of $500,000, will be used towards production costs, including equipment, location, and crew and post-production costs, including editing and advertising. Hayseed ranked in the top 4% of the 1,375 scripts submitted in the Austin Film Festival and was a finalist at the Rhode Island International Film Festival 2020.

 

afocusedpath

afocusedpath, with a $5 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a social media platform for family, parents, close friends, past teachers, and other supporters to stay involved in a child’s education. The platform creates an online educational village for children and allows everyone concerned to become a participant. Roderick DeBerry founded afocusedpath in 2018. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000, will be used for social media marketing, hiring sales and marketing employees, and upgrading computer and office equipment. afocusedpath has completed the launch of its minimum viable product and aims to help youth and mentoring programs track children’s educational results.

 

7th Street Slider Bar

7th Street Slider Bar, an American restaurant in Port Huron, MI, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. The offerings of the restaurant include tried and true staples, including 43 different types of sliders. The famous sliders of 7th Street Slider Bar are Maine Event, Brat Burger, and Ca-RIB-bean which come for under $5 each. Zachary Meldrum founded 7th Street Slider Bar in March 2020. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $20,000, and the proceeds will be used for reopening the current location. 7th Street Slider Bar adapted to various challenges during the pandemic and has received commendable community support. It is located centrally and has a loyal base of followers.

 

The Craft of Brewing

The Craft of Brewing, a brewery in Ashburn, VA, is raising funds on MainVest. The brewery has a taproom with 20 taps on the self-service wall and 14 taps behind the wall. It also offers an education-focused brewing experience and enables homebrewers to brew 20 liters or 50 liters batches onsite. Douglas Travers and Chitra Sivanandam founded The Craft of Brewing in 2014. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000, will be used for distribution expansion, e-commerce expansion, working capital, and debt refinancing. The Craft of Brewing is a young brewery focused on spreading brand awareness and cultivating flagship labels.

 

Vegan Fine Brands

Vegan Fine Brands, with a $10 million pre-money valuation, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company makes and sells 100% vegan products through its flagship store. It has also developed new plant-based meat, eggs, and dairy products and sells through the Vegan Fine Cafe, Vegan Fine Body, and its e-commerce stores. Steven Smith founded Vegan Fine Brands in September 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $358,615. The funds will be used to continue expansion through franchising, develop new e-commerce assets, and develop the private label brands. Vegan Fine Brands has served over 50,000 customers and generated $1 million in revenue in the first year of operation.

 

Primal Life Organics

Primal Life Organics, with a valuation cap of $18 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company makes organic, vegan, and gluten-free oral hygiene and skincare products. The products of Primal Life Organics do not contain any synthetic fragrances, chemical preservatives, or toxins. Trina Felber and Josh Felber founded Primal Life Organics in January 2012. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, will be used to build the retail strategy, bring on key hires, and grow direct-to-consumer marketing. Primal Life Organics has over 300,000 customers and almost $5 million in annual sales. The company has retail partnerships with Walmart, Natural Grocers, and Palko Distribution and projects to reach $21 million in revenue by 2021.

 

Soul Slice

Soul Slice, with a pre-money valuation of $3.5 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. It is an innovative pizza chain serving soul food on biscuit crust pizza. The company is focused on nourishing its employees who nourish their customers. Karter Louis and Carla Dearing founded Soul Slice in December 2020. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $140,000 and a maximum raise of $350,000, and the proceeds will be used to open the first two locations in Oakland, CA, and purchase restaurant assets. Soul Slice has an assertive expansion plan and is committed to paying its employees a liveable salary and access to personal and professional development.

 

InnerG Juice & Yoga

InnerG Juice & Yoga, a wellness brand, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company is promoting wellness through yoga and cold-pressed juice and plans to open its first yoga studio and juice bar in North Nashville in the spring of 2021. Nielah Burnett founded InnerG Juice & Yoga in 2017. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $150,000, will be used towards purchasing two vending machines, renovation of the juice bar and yoga studio, yoga classes for the virtual yoga studio, social media marketing, and local and national PR campaign. InnerG Juice & Yoga already has an established business, with the revenue of the juice business doubling from 2019 to 2020. The company also plans to launch a wellness app with streaming yoga.

 

Wilderwise

Wilderwise, with a pre-money valuation of $24 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company designs and builds eco-innovative, sustainable, and modular tiny houses on wheels. Wilderwise is close to the completion of its functional production unit prototype. Arya Mazanek founded Wilderwise in 2017. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, and the funds will be used to patent the technology, expand product offerings, and grow a philanthropic arm. Wilderwise is bridging the gap between the RV and tiny house market with its flexible and lightweight design. The living solutions will work through alternative materials, renewable energy, and a water generation and filtration system.

 

White Elephant Brewing Co

White Elephant Brewing Co, an upcoming brewery in Phoenix, AZ, is raising funds on MainVest. The brewery is family-owned and started in the backyard shed of the family. The owners have practiced brewing for years and are ready with unique and delicious beers. Joel Quisenberry and Rebecca Quisenberry founded White Elephant Brewing Co in December 2020. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $250,000, and the proceeds will be used to launch the brewery. White Elephant Brewing Co will market through social media and PR agents. It also plans to be at beer festivals to create brand awareness.

 

Eyedaptic

Eyedaptic, with a pre-money valuation of $12 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company is using augmented reality technology to design and manufacture glasses that can improve vision for those suffering from age-related macular degeneration. The EYE2 glasses of Eyedaptic are the only augmented reality glasses in the market that offer 40 degrees field of view to patients. Jay Cormier, Dave Watola, Dr. Mitul Mehta, and Dr. Brian Kim founded Eyedaptic in 2016. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, will be used for growth, expansion, and the launch of EYE3 and EYE4. Eyedaptic aims to revitalize the lives of many AMD patients and has received several awards from various ophthalmology and technology organizations.

 

digieBot Technologies

digieBot Technologies, with a pre-money valuation of $21 million, is raising funds on TruCrowd. The company has developed a professional and automated trading system that is set to change the future of trading. The system is built using volume analysis and money management techniques. Doug Kyle founded digieBot Technologies in October 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $20,000 and a maximum raise of $850,000. The funds will be used for sales and marketing, equipment and servers, development programming, and general operating expenses. digieBot Technologies helps average traders to get into the trading game confidently without the long learning curve and high subscription costs.

 

MStreetX

MStreetX, with a $12 million pre-money valuation, is raising crowdfunding on TruCrowd. The company has developed a fintech platform that gives small and medium businesses access to flexible capital. The platform lets investors explore, invest, and share ideas in SMEs of their choice. David Rixter founded MStreetX in August 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used towards business investment, staff, and operations. MStreetX already has significant international traffic, members signed up and received investment solicitations without any material marketing. The platform has also received a letter of recognition from the National Governors Association and LOIs from multiple states.

 

Digital Dream Labs

Digital Dream Labs, a consumer electronics company, is raising crowdfunding on Honeycomb. The platform of Digital Dream Labs makes STEM learning easy and interesting and introduces the topics to the kids in a fun way. The first product of Digital Dream Labs — Puzzlets — helps pre-readers to use toy puzzle pieces to control onscreen learning environments. Digital Dream Labs was founded by Jacob Hanchar in July 2012. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum raise of $100,000 and a maximum raise of $500,000. The funds will be used to hire more engineers, improve the current products, and accelerate hardware design. Digital Dream Labs has been profitable since 2017. The company reported dramatic growth despite the pandemic, and the year-over-year revenue quadrupled from 2019 to 2020.

 

Pharm Robotics

Pharm Robotics, with a valuation cap of $8 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is developing a robotic injection system that will help farmers with the shot delivery system for cows. The system will record when the shot was given, the dose of shot, and other information and send it to the cloud. Marinus Dijkstra and Alexander Chuck founded Pharm Robotics in 2019 and have raised over $220,000 in previous rounds of financing. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $175,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. The proceeds will be used for building the robot arm and vision integration, marketing, prototype development, engineering, and hiring new employees. Pharm Robotics’ patent-pending technology aims to reduce labor costs and increase the immunity and pregnancy rates among cows.

 

Colosso di Rodi Greek Bistro

Colosso di Rodi Greek Bistro, an upcoming restaurant in Patchogue, NY, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. The restaurant will be a casual place offering Greek food to young professionals and college students in the heart of Patchogue. The food will be made using fresh ingredients and will be cooked to perfection by professionals with decades of experience. Andrew Hendricks and Konstantinos Chilias founded Colosso di Rodi Greek Bistro in July 2020. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $100,000, and the proceeds will be used to build the restaurant. Colosso di Rodi Greek Bistro will be the intersection of a convenient, friendly, casual, and professional atmosphere, combined with delicious food.

 

Flower Street Docs

Flower Street Docs, two documentaries to be produced by Adam Carolla and Nate Adams, is raising funds on MicroVentures. The two documentaries will be Meme Gods — exploring the cultural phenomenon of memes — and When We Went MAD! — examining the cultural significance and rise of MAD Magazine. Meme Gods will be directed by Sean Flax and Bryan Black and When We Went MAD! by Alan Bernstein. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $219,000, and the proceeds will be used towards post-production costs. Flower Street Docs is headed by an award-winning team that will leverage its experience to guide both the documentaries and distribute them to a wide audience.

 

Grand Teton Distillery

Grand Teton Distillery, with a pre-money valuation of $21.5 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The distillery makes several award-winning spirits using local ingredients and water from the Grand Teton mountain range. The offerings of Grand Teton Distillery include bourbon, whiskey, and vodka. Linda Beckett and William Beckett, Sr. founded Grand Teton Distillery in 2011. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $9,999 and a maximum raise of $1,069,992, will be used to expand to increase production and marketing. Grand Teton Distillery has won several awards, including Double Gold Medals for its vodka and whiskey. The Potato Vodka of Grand Teton Distillery has consistently been ranked in one of the top five vodkas in the world.

 

Azzida

Azzida, with a valuation cap of $5.75 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has developed a mobile application that helps find dependable helpers for odd jobs. The app saves time and money for people and is changing the contractor bidding model to a ‘name your price’ model. Lawrence Bunnell founded Azzida in March 2020. The current crowdfunding raise has a minimum target of $100,000 and a maximum target of $250,000. The funds will be used for product development, sales and marketing, operations, compliance, and COGS. Azzida follows a simple process where the job posters describe the job they want to be done, schedule the date, and name their price. Afterward, they just select one of the applicants and get the work done.

 

MIME

MIME, with a valuation cap of $7 million, is raising crowdfunding on SeedInvest. The company has developed an artificial intelligence-powered platform to match perfect makeup color based on skin tones. The first product of MIME is a foundation shade finder that asks shoppers a few questions, asks them to upload a photo of their face, and matches the foundation shade to the skin color. Chris Merkle founded MIME in 2016 and raised $600,000 in the pre-seed round of funding in 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $25,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, will be used towards operations, salaries, sales and marketing, and intellectual property. MIME increased the foundation purchase rate of an online beauty retailer by five times in a 20-day period. The shade finder technology has achieved an almost 70% shade satisfaction rate.

 

Skywide Real Estate International

Skywide Real Estate International, a real estate investment and development company, is raising crowdfunding on Mr. Crowd. The company explores real-estate investment opportunities and works on property development, investment, and management. Skywide Real Estate International was founded by Jenna Anderson and Tianyuan Gu in June 2020. The current crowdfunding round of the company has a minimum target of $30,000 and a maximum target of $900,000, and the funds will be used to acquire a property in S Beulah Street, Philadelphia, PA. Skywide Real Estate plans to acquire, renovate, and resell the property in 8-11 months. The expected return from the property in 8-11 months is 12.68%.

 

RDE, Inc.

RDE, with a valuation of $31 million, is raising funds through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The company owns and operates a restaurant-focused digital deals brand Restaurant. com. The platform connects diners, businesses, restaurants, and communities and helps diners save money at thousands of restaurants across the country. Ketan Thakker founded RDE in 2001. The current crowdfunding round has no minimum raise and a maximum raise of $7,000,000, and the funds will be used for growth and expansion. RDE has over 8 million customers and has helped them save more than $1 billion through its restaurant deals. The company generated revenue of $10.6 million in 2019 and plans to grow further with its unique business model and technology upgrades.
