Ranada’s Kitchen, a new American restaurant in Lexington, KY, is raising funds on MainVest. The kitchen encompasses family meals, cooking classes, and boutique catering. The restaurant serves comfort food and brings entertainment to the Lexington community. Ranada’s Kitchen is owned by Ranada Riley, a chef and restauranteur with over 15 years of work experience. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum goal of $25,000 and a maximum goal of $100,000. The funds will be used for kitchen buildout, equipment, and website. Ranada’s Kitchen has been featured in many local publications and Food Network. The business is full of innovation and plans to grow further by expanding its kitchen.

 

Nectar Tulum

Nectar Tulum, a luxury condo in Tulum, Mexico, is raising funds on Republic. It is a 150-unit luxury condominium development designed by EC Architects. The gated community allows visitors to experience the local culture and lifestyle while living amongst the locals. Nectar Tulum will be run by the Smart Vylon team, led by Victor Rosales Aranda and Olga Aranda Salas. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding campaign, with a minimum raise of $300,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used to purchase and furnish four two-bedroom units of Nectar Tulum from the developer. Nectar Tulum will be operated as a vacation rental property through Airbnb and VRBO. It has a variety of amenities, including a rooftop garden, an infinity pool, and a concierge.

 

CLICS

CLICS, with a pre-money valuation of $20 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has developed an app-powered digital system for mixing hair colors in salons. The CLICS system is used by stylists and salon owners to source hair color, automate color formulation, eliminate waste, and record and report service details for quality control management. Leilani Macedo and Charles Brown founded CLICS in 2016 and have raised over $5.6 million since its inception. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $100,004 and a maximum target of $1,069,998. The raise’s proceeds will be used for general operations, sales and marketing, new product development, capital equipment, and intellectual property. CLICS has been a highly scalable business and reported revenue growth of 2,574% from Q2 to Q3 2020.

 

Common Bond Garden Oaks

Common Bond Garden Oaks, a new location of an exciting bakery and bistro concept, is raising funds on NextSeed. The bakery and bistro already has four existing locations where it serves quick and premium food, baked goods, and coffee. The new location is placed in a popular and fast-growing part of Houston, and the community is already excited about its opening. Common Bond Garden Oaks is led by George Joseph and was founded in June 2020. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $100,000 and a maximum target of $225,000. The funds will be used for the buildout, equipment, furniture, and working capital for the new location. Common Bond Garden Oaks will offer high-quality food and coffee to the locals in a laid-back casual atmosphere.

 

Firelight Camps

Firelight Camps, with a pre-money valuation of $8 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company develops and operates campgrounds that offer luxurious and social glamping experiences. The campgrounds of Firelight Camps combine the luxury of plush hotels with campfires and other resort amenities. Firelight Camps was founded by Robert Frisch and Emma Frisch in 2014 and has raised over $1.8 million since its inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $300,026 and a maximum raise of $1,069,775, will be used for pre-development expenses for the second property in Phoenicia, NY, and ongoing working capital. Firelight Camps has served over 35,000 guests and generated over $4 million in revenue.

 

Immortal Studios

Immortal Studios, with a valuation cap of $18 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is creating a universe of Wuxia characters and stories. The martial arts fantasy setting will be used for comics, films, tv, games, and merchandising. Peter Shiao founded Immortal Studios in June 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $150,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000. The raise proceeds will be used for content production, marketing and business development, technology initiatives, and converting part-time employees to full-time employees. Immortal Studios has exclusive rights to over 60 IP library of the top Wuxia creator Shiao Yi, with more than 30 films produced.

 

DRONEDEK Corporation

DRONEDEK, with a pre-money valuation of $123 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company works as a platform for safe, patented, and smart drone delivery. The platform is app-driven and is used to ship and receive food, parcels, medicines, and beverages. Dan O’Toole founded DRONEDEK in April 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $100,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used for research and development, sales and marketing, and other operational expenses. DRONEDEK has exclusive patent rights in the US for secured drone delivery. 

 

Quesadilla Gorilla

Quesadilla Gorilla, an authentic restaurant in Visalia, CA, is raising funds on SMBX. The restaurant offers delicious, locally-sourced food, made using secret recipes from generations of the owners’ families. Quesadilla Gorilla makes creative quesadillas, with specials like Dilla of the Day and Build Your Own Quesadilla. Miguel and Mikayla Reyes founded Quesadilla Gorilla in 2013. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $100,000 and a maximum target of $165,000, and the funds will be used to purchase new equipment for its new and existing locations. Quesadilla Gorilla is already open at four locations and plans to open the fifth one in 2021.

 

Blendid

Blendid, with a valuation cap of $50 million, is raising funds on MicroVentures. The company makes robotic food automation solutions powered by artificial intelligence. The first product of Blendid is a robotic kiosk that makes healthy smoothies on demand and based on the taste and preferences of customers. Vipin Jain, Venki Ayalur, and Vijay Dodd founded Blendid in 2015 and have raised over $13 million in previous rounds of financing. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. The proceeds will be used for marketing, manufacturing, research and development, future wages, repayment of the debt, and general working capital. Blendid already has four kiosks deployed in the San Francisco area and has signed an agreement with Walmart to deploy its kiosk at its Fremont, California location.

 

Akua

Akua, with a $7 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Republic. It is a meat-alt company that uses technology to make nutrient-dense, sustainable, and regenerative food. The products of Akua are rich in protein and made from ocean-farmed kelp. Courtney Boyd Myers founded in 2016 and has raised over $750,000 since its inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used to create a platform of meat-alternative products, grow its brand, and launch The Kelp Burger. Akua products, including the Kelp Jerky, are already available in over 40 stores across the US.

 

Digital Brands Group

Digital Brands Group, doing business as DSTLD, is raising funds on WeFunder. It is the holding company of four direct-to-consumer brands. The brands under Digital Brands Group include DSTLD, ACE Studios, Bailey 44, and Harper & Jones. The brands are luxury lifestyle clothing, and the company focuses on a digital-first business model. Digital Brands Group was founded by Mark Lynn and others in 2013 and has raised over $15 million since its inception. The proceeds of the current round of crowdfunding, with a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $760,250, will be used for product and inventory, working capital, marketing, and acquisition and IPO fees. Digital Brands Group currently has 1.2 million customers for the four brands it owns and generated revenues of $33.5 million in 2019. The holding company plans to acquire four more brands, including Jack Georges and three that cannot be disclosed.

 

eCarra

eCarra, with a valuation cap of $5 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company offers luxury electric car rideshare services in Tesla vehicles. The services are clean and luxurious and are accompanied by planting a tree for every ride. eCarra has proprietary software for EV rideshare infrastructure. Rock Robinson founded eCarra in 2018 and has raised over $500,000 since its founding. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum goal of $100,000 and a maximum goal of $428,000. The funds will be used for marketing, hiring a sales team and management, and expansion of 20 new vehicles and facilities. eCarra has over 16,000 members, with 98% member retention in the last 12 months.

 

The Feel Good Lab

The Feel Good Lab, with a post-money valuation of $10.1 million, is raising funds on NetCapital. The company is revolutionizing the OTC pain relief category with its patented healthy pain relief products. The company removed all the toxic ingredients from pain relief medication and developed plant-based products, including healthy pain relief creams. Ryan Gresh, CJ Forse, and Kyle Fitzpatrick founded The Feel Good Lab in 2016. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $1,069,999. The funds will be used for sales and marketing, hiring, inventory, R&D, and general and administrative expenses. The Feel Good Lab is backed by the University of Connecticut under the Technology Incubator Program.

 

Gorges Beer

Gorges Beer, an upcoming brewery in Cascade Locks, OR, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. It is a brewery and destination event space with the capability of holding about 300 guests. There is so much more than beer, including over 20 rooms, 40 parking spaces, native trees, solar panels, and ev charging. Steven Preece and Travis Preece founded Gorges Beer in 2018. Gorges Beer is about to create an unparalleled experience with craft beer in an exceptional location.

 

Black Sands Entertainment

Black Sands Entertainment, with a pre-money valuation of $9.8 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company creates African-American content for an underserved community. Black Sands Entertainment is one of the most popular independent black content developers in the country. Black Sands Entertainment was founded by Manuel Godoy in 2016. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $99,999 and a maximum target of $535,000, and the funds will be used for developing the distribution app and marketing. Black Sands Entertainment has sold over 60,000 units and has over 5 million impressions a month on social media. The company creates comics and media content based on the black population and is endorsed by Michelle Obama, ReedPOP, and the Schomburg Center.

 

hobbyDB

hobbyDB, with a pre-money valuation of $11 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a free resource for the collecting community, built by collectors, for collectors. The database allows collectors to explore, track, and organize their collection. The price tracker on hobbyDB also keeps track of how much the collection is worth. hobbyDB was founded by Christian Braun and has raised more than $4.9 million since its inception. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $20,000 and a maximum target of $260,000, and the funds will be used to build an app and finance the company’s operations. hobbyDB has 480,000 users with collections worth $911 million.

 

Lost Spirits Distillery

Lost Spirits Distillery, with a pre-money valuation of $20.5 million, is raising funds on WeFunder. It is one of the world’s best distilleries, blended with a theme park experience. The new kind of distillery concept comes with an elaborate tour and fine dining experience and sells tickets for visits. Lost Spirits Distillery was founded by Bryan Davis and Joanne Haruta and has raised over $4.3 million since its founding. The proceeds of the current round of crowdfunding, with a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, will be used towards building an expansion project in Las Vegas. Lost Spirits Distillery has reported a 1200% growth in revenues in the past three years and is tracking $4.5 million in revenue from the Los Angeles distillery.

 

Resolve Networks

Resolve Networks, with a post-money valuation of $8.5 million, is raising funds on NetCapital. The company has developed a game platform that allows players to do good deeds and earn money for charities they care about. The platform will also help non-profit organizations to engage more with the volunteers and increase donations. Mario Blandini founded Resolve Networks in 2018. Cadi

Cadi uses technology to connect golfers with the products they love and leads the autonomous future of golf retail. Tyler Gottstein and Matt Ahrens founded Cadi in 2016. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $9,999.65 and a maximum raise of $1,069,998.67. The raise’s proceeds will be used to take the business to the next stage, expand the technology, and positively impact recreational sports. Cadi has already signed letters of intent with 63 golf courses in the pilot testing stage and has access to over 250,000 golfers.

 

Adara Thoroughbred

Adara Thoroughbred, with a $100 pre-money valuation, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company aims to acquire ownership of Adara, a promising two year old racehorse. Adara is currently at Churchill Downs and is being trained by Kenny McPeek. George Hall founded Adara Thoroughbred in September 2020. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $325,000, will be used to purchase interests in Adara. Adara Thoroughbred has a strong pedigree on both sides of his family and came out of Mattie Camp by Empire Maker.

 

Hempzene

Hempzene, with a $5 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company markets and sells high-quality CBD products for health and wellness directly to the consumers. Hempzene tells its story through informative long-form television media and online content. Michael Sciucco founded Hempzene in June 2020 and has raised $163,000 since its inception. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $75,000 and a maximum raise of $107,000, and the funds will be used for customer acquisition and product inventory. Hempzene has aired 3,062 long-form advertisements and acquired almost 2,700 customers through September 2020. The company has reported a three times growth in total revenue since December 2019.

 

Odyssey Science

Odyssey Science, with a valuation cap of $5 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $100,000 and a maximum goal of $550,000. The proceeds will be used for vehicle development and engineering, tooling and production equipment, development vehicle testing, marketing, and business development. Aptera Motors expects to realize margins of 35% selling 10,000 units per year by 2022.

 

1933 Distillery

1933 Distillery, a distillery and tasting bar in New Orleans, LA, is raising funds on MainVest. The distillery makes high-quality products, including vodka, rum, dark rum, gin, whiskey, and hand sanitizer under various brand names. It operates out of an 8,000 square-foot industrial space and a 1,200 square-foot tasting room. Gerald Christian founded 1933 Distillery in 2018. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $100,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000, will be used for production equipment, bottling supplies, and inventory. 1933 Distillery has a loyal customer base in the area and has good room for expansion.

 

Brato Brewhouse and Kitchen

Brato Brewhouse and Kitchen, a brewery in Brighton, MA, is raising crowdfunding on MainVest. It is a brewery and restaurant located just across the street from the fast-growing Boston Landing development project. It creates delicious suppers, house-made sausages, unique grilled cheeses, and beer in partnership with local farms. Jonathan Gilman and Alex Corona founded Brato Brewhouse and Kitchen in 2017. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum raise of $10,000 and a maximum raise of $50,000, and the proceeds will be used towards working capital. Brato Brewhouse and Kitchen sells food made in its scratch kitchen, and beer brewed on-site. The company plans to expand soon by increasing its brewing capacity.

 

Knightscope

Knightscope, the developer of fully-autonomous security robots, is raising funds on StartEngine through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The company designs, builds, deploys and supports the award-winning crime-fighting robots and functions on a Machine-as-a-Service business model. Knightscope is disrupting the security industry with its security robots that have significant field experience. The company was founded by William Santana Li and Stacy Dean Stephens and has raised over $43 million since its founding. The current funding round has no minimum goal and a maximum goal of $25,000,000. The proceeds will be used for increasing sales, optimizing the production of ADMs, and working capital. Knightscope security robots already operate in 15 states and run fully autonomously both outdoors and indoors.

 

xCraft Enterprises

xCraft Enterprises, with a valuation of $35 million, is raising funds on StartEngine through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The company designs and manufactures unmanned aerial systems for military and enterprise markets. The patented technologies of xCraft Enterprises are taking the drone industry to new heights, bringing improved safety and quality of life. JD Claridge founded xCraft Enterprises and has raised over $2.1 million in previous rounds of financing. The current crowdfunding round has no minimum raise and a maximum raise of $8,331,745, and the proceeds will be used for R&D and production, marketing and sales, working capital, and liability reduction. xCraft Enterprises is backed by all five celebrity Shark Tank investors and has been featured in Techcrunch, Fortune, Business Insider, and MarketWatch.
