New Deals for the Week Ending 02/21/2021

Below are the latest equity crowdfunding raises begun this past week. For additional information, we encourage KingsCrowders to click on the link provided for more details. Predictiv

Predictiv, with a valuation cap of $5.5 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company has developed a comprehensive solution to measure the risk of about 16,000 diseases. The platform uses DNA next-generation sequencing to assess risk levels, sequence genes, analyze drugs, and simulate reactions to drugs. Sajung Yun and Sijung Yun founded Predictiv in July 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $107,000. The proceeds will be used to improve the UI/UX, execute partnerships in the US and Asia, and expand the solution. Predictiv has filed two patents and expects to generate revenue of $70 million by 2024.

 

Roomongo

Roomongo, with a pre-money valuation of $5 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company has developed one site for searching and booking hotels, rentals, rooms, and more. It is relaunching its site hotels with below-market rates for members only. Patrick O’Hara and Rob O’Connor founded Roomongo in 2017. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000, will be used for marketing and social media, development, design, and API, admin, support, and customer service. Roomongo plans to become a single streamlined trip planning hub that will help people create their trips, add their favorites, invite friends, and collaborate.

 

Movie Gym Rat

Movie Gym Rat, a feature film on addiction and transformation, is raising funds on Wefunder. The film will be based on the life of a fitness freak who gets a job selling steroids for a gym owner. He spirals deeper into the cycle of violence and drugs and evolves from there. Movie Gym Rat is produced by Korstiaan Vandiver and Joshua Murray, with Ron Newcomb and Travis Brown as associate producers. The current round of crowdfunding has a minimum target of $85,000 and a maximum target of $185,000. The funds will be used to complete production and editing, cover post-production expenses, and for advertising. Movie Gym Rat is already 80% filmed and is expected to have a powerful and positive impact on society.

 

Worth

Worth, with a valuation cap of $6.5 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company has built software that helps businesses convert their customers into marketers. The proprietary search engine of Worth assists in identifying the customers on social media. Patrick Kim and Aditya Mitra founded Worth in 2018 and raised more than $500,000 since the inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum target of $300,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000, will target technology, sales, operations, and marketing. Worth has created over 20,000 Instagram stories from its customers and reported 20 times revenue growth in the first five months.

 

The Studio Creative Group

The Studio Creative Group, with a $12 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is an innovative and creative co-working studio concept that creates high-quality content to keep the audience engaged. Along with producing its own theatrical content, The Studio Creative Group also works as a consultant and partner for independent filmmakers. Joseph Maxwell and Allison Maxwell founded The Studio Creative Group in 2017. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum goal of $100,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000. The funds will be used to purchase film and photo equipment, hire a sales professional, and cover marketing expenses. The Studio Creative Group is led by an experienced and established Emmy Award-winning team.

 

Benson Watch Company

Benson Watch Company, with a valuation cap of $6.5 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company makes watches with an emphasis on design, quality, and comfort. The watches are made using non-reactive materials for maximum comfort and tested through several rounds of quality testing. Marcel Benson founded Benson Watch Company in January 2015. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum of $250,000, and the proceeds will be used for growth and streamlining the supply chain. Benson Watch Company has been named a top watch brand by New York Times. The business is currently profitable and expects to generate $15 million in revenue by 2022.

 

Ready Set Jet

Ready Set Jet, with a $10 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Republic. The company is combining beauty, wellness, and empowerment with its innovative products. The multi-use beauty products of Ready Set Jet are vegan, help save time, space, and money, and give back to underserved communities. Shalini Vadhera founded Ready Set Jet in 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $25,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000, will be used to provide education and skills development to women of all backgrounds. Ready Set Jet has over 35 high-performing formulations and has secured international distribution. The company also plans to empower 1 million women worldwide.

 

Node40

Node40, with a valuation cap of $5 million, is raising crowdfunding on NextSeed. The company has developed a platform for enterprise-grade transaction tracking for tax compliance related to cryptocurrencies. It reads and evaluates activity from all crypto sources, examines it, applies financial rules, and downloads detailed audit records. Perry Woodin founded Node40 in October 2020. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $200,000 and a maximum raise of $750,000, and the proceeds will be used to continue and expand operations. Node40 is led by an experienced team and aims to address an enormous market of taxpayers owning or trading cryptocurrencies.

 

The Block Distilling Co.

The Block Distilling Co., with a pre-money valuation of $7.34 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. It is a craft distillery that makes small-batch spirits from start to finish in-house. Some of the products of The Block Distilling Co. include Four Grain Straight Whiskey, Summer Gin, Spring Gin, and Autumn Gin. Kraig Weaver, Michelle Weaver, and Cameron Weaver founded The Block Distilling Co. in 2015 and have raised $1.5 million since the inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum target of $250,000 and a maximum target of $1,069,999, will be used to fund expansion construction and hire an additional distillery assistant. The Block Distilling Co. has sold 120,000 drinks and 8,000 bottles and generated $1.85 million in lifetime sales since opening.

 

DOJO+

DOJO+, with a $3 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. The platform connects Martial Arts schools around the world and helps them manage their business and retain their students. It helps collect gym membership, manage inventory, manage belt promotion, and communicate with students. Juno Jo founded DOJO+ in 2019. The current crowdfunding round of the company has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $55,000. The proceeds of the raise will target development, social media marketing, and content marketing. DOJO+ is enabling more than 4,000 Martial Arts schools and has more than 18,000 users pre-signed up in more than 50 countries.

 

Everyday Contacts

Everyday Contacts, with a pre-money valuation of $7.37 million, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company is introducing premium contact lenses with comfort coating. The daily disposable lenses are made with a hydrophilic coating and are available exclusively from eye doctors. Lawrence Chavez founded Everyday Contacts in 2018. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $250,000, will be used towards the clinical trial. Everyday Contacts has a scalable business model and expects to grow the business to $20 million in revenues in two years after the launch. The product development has been completed and is pending clinical trial and FDA approval.

 

SousZen

SousZen, with a valuation cap of $7 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has developed software that helps to orchestrate the kitchen operations of restaurants and keeps them streamlined. The web and mobile apps of SousZen — Manager, Expeditor, and Advisor — use next-gen technology to manage inventory, menus, and recipes, solve talent crunch and provide consistently good food. Stephen King founded SousZen in 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $350,000. The funds will target the development of Expeditor, revamping the design, sales and marketing, and hiring additional sales staff. SousZen is specifically helping restaurants reinvent their businesses during COVID-19 by streamlining operations and boosting margins.

 

HunniCo

HunniCo, with a $3.5 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company makes unique sparkling beverages consisting of just natural fruit, honey, and water. The two drinks are called Hunniwater Kindness and Hunniwater Detox. Eric Butler and Karin Butler founded Hunnico in 2018. The current crowdfunding campaign of the company has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000. The funds will be used for marketing, promotions, operations, and Hunniwater inventory. Hunnico operates out of its flagship store in Edmonds, WA, where it sells products and has its innovation lab and bottling line. The company plans to increase distribution and reach over 30,000 stores across the country.

 

Grazr

Grazr, with a pre-money valuation of $2.48 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. It is a marketplace platform that sells locally-raised meat and works as a farm-to-table provider. The platform serves farmers, processors, and consumers and streamlines meat acquisition from farmers, processing, and delivering it straight to the customers. Thomas Cunningham and Anthony Laney founded Grazr in 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $50,001 and a maximum raise of $250,000, will be used for sales and marketing, platform development, and overhead costs. Grazr aims at hyperlocal food sourcing and helps lower the environmental impact of meat.

 

Jule’s Foods

Jule’s Foods, a vegan cheese company, is raising crowdfunding on SMBX. The company makes cashew-based brie which is creamy, delicious, dairy-free, animal cruelty-free, and environment friendly. The artisanal cheeses of Jule’s Foods are aged for two weeks to perfection, hand-wrapped, and sent to consumers. Julie Van Dam and Stephen Janke founded Jule’s Foods in 2018. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding raise, with a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $200,000, will be used to increase production, buy new equipment, and get new packaging. Jule’s Foods products are sold to over 50 retailers and restaurants and are liked by chefs and consumers alike.

 

Duplex Cinema & Cafe

Duplex Cinema & Cafe, an upcoming movie theatre in Albuquerque, NM, is raising funds on MainVest. The company aims to disrupt the cinema industry with its cafe, cinema, and concessions drive-thru. The cinema will impact the local economy by contributing to art and film, and the fast-casual cafe will serve American favorite craft foods. DeHaven Barnes and Bryant Gomez founded Duplex Cinema & Cafe in October 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $100,000. The funds will be used towards cinema equipment deposit, buildout deposit, cafe equipment deposit, architectural fees, and licensing. Duplex Cinema & Cafe is focused on becoming the hub of entertainment and community.

 

Lynx City

Lynx City, with a valuation cap of $12 million, is raising crowdfunding on Republic. It is an e-scooter rental company that aims to use micro-mobility to promote civic interests and make everyday life easy. A portion of each ride is donated to local wildlife rehabilitation experts. Alan Moisio, David Harvey, and Derek Pierson founded Lynx City in May 2019. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $25,000 and a maximum raise of $1,070,000, will be used to launch in seven new locations in 2021. Lynx City has offered more than 70,000 rides since its launch and generated $500,000 in revenue. The company expects to reach $15 million in revenue by 2023.

 

Aether Beauty

Aether Beauty, with a valuation cap of $6 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company is disrupting the beauty industry with its clean and sustainable makeup that works. The products of Aether Beauty are bridging the gap between clean ingredients and effective performance. Tiila Abbitt founded Aether Beauty in February 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $25,000 and a maximum target of $1,070,000. The proceeds will be used to grow the business, launch new products, diversify sales channels, build out an influencer program, and launch sampling. Aether Beauty has sold over 80,000 units and generated more than $2 million in net sales since launch.

 

Viveka

Viveka, with a valuation cap of $8.5 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has developed a SaaS platform for personal development. The platform works B2C2B and connects companies and individuals with coaching experts. The coaching SaaS of Viveka, V-Coach, assists in video communications, calendar integration, and tracking accountability. Katja Kempe founded Viveka in September 2019. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum goal of $50,000 and a maximum goal of $1,000,000. The funds will be used for sales and marketing team growth, tech advancements, and marketing. Viveka has 1,500 coaches on its platforms and reported 300% growth in the past six months.

 

Counter-Intuitive Cooking

Counter-Intuitive Cooking, with a $2.5 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. The company aims to develop SueChef, an automated kitchen robot that uses artificial intelligence to take the user out of the meal preparation equation. The product will allow hands-off freezer-to-oven cooking. Maxwell Wieder and Eddie Holzinger founded Counter-Intuitive Cooking in 2018. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum raise of $50,000 and a maximum raise of $250,000, will be used for manufacturing of production prototypes, the launch of a marketing campaign, and finalization of the consumer app. Counter-Intuitive Cooking’s SueChef will help users in saving money eating out. Also, the product will work on a recurring revenue model rather than a one-time product sale.

 

Hiatus Wine

Hiatus Wine, an upcoming winery in Wamego, KS, is raising funds on MainVest. The company has secured its lease for space in October 2020 and received its Kansas Farm Winery License in January 2021. Hiatus Wine will grow its own grapes, make wine, and sell to online and local customers. It plans to open its tasting room in 2022. Benjamin Gaeddert and Henri Gaeddert founded Hiatus Wine in October 2020. The current crowdfunding round has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $50,000, and the funds will be used for working capital. Hiatus Wine aims to cultivate wine experiences with humility, engagement, intention, graciousness, consistency, and respect.

 

Drawing Board Brewing Company

Drawing Board Brewing Company, an upcoming brewery in Florence, MA, is raising funds on MainVest. The company has been producing high-quality ales and lagers for ten years as a nano-brewery and plans to open a brick-and-mortar location now. Corey Lynch founded Drawing Board Brewing Company in August 2019. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum raise of $30,000 and a maximum raise of $50,000. The funds will target the purchase of a turnkey system, fermenters, a can filler, a can seamer, and a glycol system. Drawing Board Brewing Company has received several awards for its craft beer at various beer tasting events. The brewery will continue to maintain respect for traditional ingredients and processes.

 

Naboso

Naboso, with a pre-money valuation of $9.88 million, is raising crowdfunding on StartEngine. The company has developed a proprietary textured material that aims to enhance movement. The material has been used to make sensory insoles, mats, and flooring that stimulate the feet and activate the nervous system. Dr. Emily Splichal founded Naboso in 2016. The current crowdfunding round of the company has a minimum raise of $9,999.45 and a maximum raise of $1,069,998.66. The proceeds of the raise will be used to initiate further research studies, expand growth, expand global distribution, and complete the FDA Class 2 approval process. Naboso has global distribution in nine countries and reported a 68% growth in revenue even during the global pandemic.

 

The Studio Kitchen

The Studio Kitchen, with a pre-money valuation of $8 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The studio is an ultimate culinary entertainment destination and serves as a platform for creating modern media. It also offers premium dining experiences, and hosts live culinary shows. Michael Cafarelli and Jim Cafarelli founded The Studio Kitchen in January 2021. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $10,000 and a maximum goal of $1,070,000, will be used for growth and expansion. The Studio Kitchen has produced over 3,000 live shows and received 25 Emmy nominations for its culinary projects.

 

Haint Blue

Haint Blue, with a $5 million valuation cap, is raising crowdfunding on Wefunder. It is a brewing company and taproom that makes high-quality craft beer. Haint Blue also meets the highest standards of social and environmental impact. Keith Sherill founded Haint Blue in 2015 and raised $267,000 in a previous crowdfunding round in 2016. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $100,000 and a maximum goal of $250,000, will be used to launch a non-alcoholic e-commerce brand, launch another core beer, fund sales and marketing, and hire more staff. Haint Blue was the number one selling craft beer in 2018 and has generated over $1 million in sales since launch.
