Vestaboard, with a pre-money valuation of $9.39 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company has reimagined the design of split-flap displays to create internet-connected displays that can be controlled from anywhere. The product can be used anywhere, including homes, offices, educational institutions, hospitality, and health services. Vestaboard was founded by Dorrian Porter in 2015 and has raised over $1 million since its inception. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $9,999.40 and a maximum goal of $1,069,998.70, will be used to commence mass production of the product. Vestaboard has already received $4.3 million in reservations, and the very first units are expected to reach the early customers in July 2020.
