Winc, the world’s first data-driven winery, is raising funds through Reg A+ crowdfunding. The winery collects data from more than 715,000 customers to make wines that are loved by the masses. The data is gathered through its e-commerce platform and is funneled into wine design before launching new products in the market. Brian Smith, Geoff McFarlane, Alexander Oxman, and Mark Lynn founded Winc in 2011 and raised over $8 million in its previous crowdfunding round. The current crowdfunding round has no minimum target and a maximum target of $17,500,000. The proceeds will be used to acquire new brands to add to the portfolio of wines. Winc has sold over 16 million bottles of wine to date and generated more than $240 million in revenues.
